Can I use just one wavelength at a time? +

Yes. The button cycles through three modes: all wavelengths (630nm + 850nm + 940nm), red only (630nm), or near-infrared only (850nm + 940nm). Each mode also has a pulse version. Press and hold for 3 seconds to switch to pulse.

Can I wear it in public? +

Yes. Hair Pro is designed as a standard black baseball cap. The LEDs are not visible from the exterior. There are no wires, lights, or sounds that would indicate it is a treatment device.

Is light therapy safe for daily use? +

Yes. Red and near-infrared light is non-ionizing and non-ultraviolet. Published clinical trials on LLLT for hair growth have not reported serious adverse events. Consult your physician if you are taking photosensitizing medications or have a scalp condition.
